When combined with the separately available 50-100mm zoom, the two lenses provide a wide, versatile 28-100mm total range and an almost 3.6x zoom ratio. Zoom features include amber flares, focus marks in both feet and meters, 0.8 MOD cine gears on focus, iris, zoom rings and a 77mm front filter thread. The "Silver" versions provide natural colour of the flares, by reproducing the same colour streaks of the light source. The colour can also be manipulated through colour grading, filters, or changing the temperature of the point light sources, giving the users more creative control of flare colour, rather than having a vivid blue or amber colour which limits options.
