Cheapest offer

Pea 'Hurst Green Shaft' (Lathyrus oleraceus) is an RHS Award of Garden Merit winner known for its excellent flavour, reliability and disease resistance. Plants grow to around 70cm and produce heavy crops of double pods up to 10cm long, often with as many as 11 peas per pod. Pods form mainly on the upper half of the plants for easier picking. Successional sowing from April to June gives a steady harvest from July to September, and the nitrogen-fixing roots help improve soil fertility. These sweet, tender peas freeze well and are also suitable for exhibiting.
