NOTES OF CITRUS AND SEAWEED WITH UNMISTAKABLE ISLAY SMOKE Port Askaig 8 Year Old is matured in a selection of bourbon barrels, toasted American Oak barrels, PX sherry butts, and refill hogsheads for a minimum of 5 years. It is herbaceous and resinous on the nose with notes of seaweed, citrus, and pinewood, and gentle smoke and salinity on the palate.
