It is designed to insulate beneath a hard shell in extreme environments but can be worn as an everyday jacket too. Its recycled Pertex Quantum fabric features a DWR coating in case of light showers. In cold weather, its down-filled hood with stiffened peak can be adjusted for extra warmth and comfort. The down used in the Microlight is treated with Nikwax hydrophobic formula.
