Our Cat Grass is a variety of Barley, which provides vitamins and fibre in your cat's diet and keeps them from chewing your houseplants. Treat your cat to their own supply of fresh, clean grass all year round by sowing and growing Cat Grass 'Tabby Cat' in small batches. This quick growing hardy perennial grass reaches 15cm (6") in just 6 weeks. If you have a few seed to spare, Hordeum also makes an attractive ornamental grass when planted in perennial borders.Grow Cat Grass all year round, in the greenhouse or on a sunny windowsill. Sow on the surface of a good free draining, damp seed compost and lightly cover the seed with vermiculite. Place in a propagator or seal the seed tray inside a polythene bag, maintaining a temperature of 18-24C (65-75F) until after germination which usually takes 14-21 days.
