With the sensor mode the light automatically turns on at dusk to 10% light and turns off at dawn, increasing to 100% when motion is detected. With the constant brightness mode, it automatically turns on at dusk to 100% light and works constantly till the battery capacity is zero. It is powered entirely by solar energy, it works all year round, even in winter.
