There are many different types, but the most used in cooking are brown, red, dark speckled, green, and yellow lentils. These "beans" are extracted from their shells and split in half along their natural seams, allowing for speedier cooking and removing the need for soaking. When cooked, split peas are high in protein, fibre and low in fat. ✔ HIGH-QUALITY INGREDIENTS: Vegetarians may obtain a lot of protein from lentils. Lentils are an essential element of vegan and vegetarian diets when protein intake must be controlled! Cooking is less essential than relaxing, and it's a good option for times when you need something quick, easy, delicious, and healthful. Whatever your lifestyle, these lentils offer the most nutrition, taste, and simplicity into a little but mighty package. ✔ INSTRUCTION FOR USE: Allow approximately 40g of lentils per 80g cooked serving. Wash in 3-4 changes of clean water. Soak in enough water to cover for at least 15-20 mins. Replace water with fresh water, bring to the boil for at least 10 minutes.
