Rye is used in bread, crispbreads, and fermented drinks because it can grow in soils and circumstances that are unfriendly to wheat and other grains. It is found in many regions where other cereals struggle to exist. Rye Flakes are the whole-grain cereal alternative you've been waiting for, with their unusual texture and earthy, slightly spicy flavour. ✔ HIGH-QUALITY INGREDIENTS: They provide a distinctively unique tasty ingredient to both sweet and savoury foods, whether you use them to nourish a hot breakfast, add to bread and baked products, or use as a binder for your preferred burgers. Make it savoury. Top with roasted veggies or a fried egg and your favourite seasonings. Also, instead of bread crumbs, try using flakes as a breading or topping in casseroles. To Cook: Bring 2 cups water to boil and 1 cup rye flakes, cover.
