THE EMISSARY’S FIRST DISCOVERY - A PROSECCO UNLIKE ANY OTHER - Founded in 2018 by London-based Edward Smith, The Emissary began with a mission to find the finest Prosecco in Italy. After travelling from Venice through the Dolomite foothills and sampling hundreds of wines, he discovered a beautiful third-generation family vineyard near the village of Cornuda in Veneto - and this is the wine they make together. 100% GLERA, ONLY 4G/L RESIDUAL SUGAR, FULLY VEGAN - Made entirely from Glera - the only grape permitted in authentic Prosecco DOC production. With just 4g/L of residual sugar, this is one of the driest Proseccos on the market. It is also 100% vegan, completely free from the animal-derived fining agents commonly used in wine production. SQNPI-CERTIFIED SUSTAINABLE VINEYARD, FOOTHILLS OF THE DOLOMITES - The vineyard holds SQNPI certification - Italy’s national quality standard for integrated sustainable agriculture. Situated 150m above sea level on south-facing slopes at the foothills of Colli Asolani, on balanced silt, clay and sand soils with a mild, breezy microclimate. Chemical-free and herbicide-free, using only natural and mineral fertilisers. THREE GENERATIONS OF PROSECCO CRAFT, CHARMAT METHOD SPUMANTE - Produced by a family winemaker whose expertise spans three generations. Grapes are hand-selected and slowly pressed in early September for their delicate juice. Primary fermentation is followed by a secondary fermentation in pressurised tanks (Charmat method), building the fine, persistent perlage and fresh-fruit character that defines great Prosecco. FRESH, ELEGANT & PERFECT FOR ANY OCCASION - Brilliant straw yellow with fine, persistent bubbles. The nose is vibrant with white flowers, fresh pear, apple and a hint of citrus. Lively and refreshing on the palate with a clean, dry finish. Serve chilled at 6-8°C in a flute or tulip glass.
