When Italy legalised Prosecco Rosé DOC in 2020, The Emissary was among the first UK brands to bring it to market - sourced from a 3rd-generation, family-run, single-estate vineyard near Cornuda village at the foot of the Dolomites. 85% GLERA & 15% PINOT NOIR - CRAFTED WITH PRECISION - The Glera is softly pressed and immediately separated from its skins to preserve delicate, fresh fruit character. The Pinot Noir undergoes 3-4 days of skin maceration - in the style of red winemaking - to extract its signature pink hue and red-berry depth. COLLI ASOLANI HILLSIDE TERROIR - VENETO, ITALY - The vineyards grow at the foot of the Colli Asolani hills in the Treviso province, where the particular blend of silt, clay and sand produces a fuller, more complex Prosecco with finer bubbles than lowland DOC vineyards. The mild, temperate microclimate and excellent sun exposure create the ideal conditions for September's careful harvest - grapes selected at peak ripeness.
