The Vic Firth Corpsmaster Bass Mallet Small Head Hard is a small mallet designed for use with 18-inch to 22-inch bass drums. Corspmaster marching bass mallets have tapered hickory shafts helping to shift the weight towards the hand. This helps to improve balance and control of the mallet for precision playing. The spherical heads deliver a consistent surface for striking providing a stronger and more refined sound. The soft fleece head provides a more full-bodied sound with a softer strike balancing tonality with attack.
