The Vic Firth Modern Jazz Collection - MJC1 Drumsticks are designed for the modern jazz player. The MJC1 Drumsticks feature a slightly elongated 55A shaft with a medium taper with a premium-grade oval wood tip. The sticks features a thicker diameter which results in added weight designed to emphasise and accentuate the ride cymbal. These stick were never before available to the public. They were developed in collaboration with famous modern Jazz drummers including Jeff Ballard Lewis Nash and Joe McCarthy.
