This blade width is particularly effective for cutting wide mortises, cleaning up large joints, removing significant amounts of waste timber, and general site carpentry work. Manufactured from drop-forged chrome vanadium steel, the blade is hardened and tempered to exacting standards to ensure the cutting edge remains sharper for longer. The bevelled edge design makes this chisel ideal for cutting into tight corners and for use on fine work.
